In the UK Andrea is a leading sommelier and wine judge, having judged for the prestigious Sommelier Wine Awards run by Imbibe magazine and the Decanter World Wine Awards in London. He is also a Copa Jerez UK finalist and competed in the grand final in Jerez in 2013.
