All around the world, bars, restaurants and wine stores are getting creative in the ultimate tribute to Southern Spain’s iconic wines. That’s because the ultimate Sherry fest is just ONE month away. From 4–10 November, Sherry lovers from the UK to Brazil, Belgium to Colombia, will unite at the 11th International Sherry Week.
Think you know Sherry? Think again. From mouthwatering tastings and creative food pairings to show-stopping cocktails and the ever-popular Sherry Rutas, this year promises to plunge long-time fans and curious newcomers deeper into its wildly versatile world.
With more than 588 Sherry events in 178 venues across 15 countries already lined up, there’s still time to host your own and get in on the #SherryWeek action.

Drawing inspiration from the Ruta del Vino in Jerez, Sherry Week invites you to join a series of events across multiple venues, creating your own unique trail of wine experiences. Enthusiasts can swirl, sip and savour from one place to the next. It’s the perfect way to explore Sherry.
This year, you can hit up the Sherry Rutas in some of the world’s hottest cities:

UK: In London? Don’t miss the unique cocktails created by leading mixologists at Brindisa using the world’s finest Sherries, or the vibrant celebrations of Spain at Morito and Moro. In Hull? Reserve your spot at the Five-Course Sherry-Paired Dinner at Ambiente Tapas. In Edinburgh? Head to the Novotel for a Masterclass. China: The baristas at Shanghai’s Café 3 1/2 are hosting a unique, boundary-breaking Sherry and Coffee pairing event exploring processing and brewing connections – five Sherries, five coffees, five Sherry-Coffee cocktails and one unforgettable experience!
Australia: Sydney’s Where’s Nick natural wine bar will fly you straight to Cádiz with an immersive Sherry flight tasting paired with chef-curated snacks. Expect organic delights.
Brazil: São Paulo’s Os Vinhos de Jerez is telling the story of Jerez through the medium of Sherry!
Japan: Tokyo’s Ánimo offers a rare treat – a Sherry & French Cheese Pairing Workshop – for a taste of Europe in a uniquely interactive sensory experience.
Netherlands: Amsterdam’s Flying Dutchmen Cocktails is offering complimentary Sherry, with a different variety each day of Sherry Week, at the excellently named event… Flor For More.
US: Washington DC’s The Square will celebrate all things Sherry with limited-edition cocktails, Austin’s DrinkWell is offering daily Sherry flights and Charlotte’s Supperland has Sherry on the specials.
Chile: In Santiago, Wine School Chile will host a Sherry Masterclass, offering curious palates a deep dive into the nuances of Jerez’s finest wines.
Spain: The legendary Ovejas Negras Ruta returns with innovative Sherry and tapas pairings at the city’s hottest spots in Seville. Meanwhile, Madrid will see La Caleta team up with Sherry Ambassador Veronica Aguilar Taberner for a culinary and Sherry-filled extravaganza. And, of course, Jerez will pull out all the stops (literally), offering everything from 4x4 vineyard tours to an energy movement session inspired by the annual vine cycle – an experience not to be missed.
