Cynthia Ribeiro-Richter

Cynthia Ribeiro-Richter, Founder and Head of Education at Grape Skills, holds the WSET Diploma and is a WSET Certified Educator. With a background in statistics, an MBA in marketing, and a specialisation in consumer and market research, Cynthia turned her passion for wine into a successful career. In 2007, she moved from Brazil to the Pfalz wine region in Germany, deepening her wine knowledge through visits and tastings. From 2010, she lived in South Africa, completed her WSET training, and began working as a consultant in the wine industry. Returning to Germany in 2016, Cynthia shared her expertise at international events, advised foreign wineries, and taught at wine schools and universities. In 2018, she founded Grape Skills, a WSET Approved Programme Provider. Since 2021, she has been pursuing the Master of Wine qualification. Since 2019 as a Sherry Educator, Cynthia has been engaging professionals, apprentices, and enthusiasts through several bespoken Sherry Masterclasses. As the driving force behind Grape Skills, Cynthia is a dedicated lecturer, deeply involved in the organisation, and always available to support her students.
