Celebrate the diversity of Sherry Wines by registering your event for Sherry Week and stand a chance to win an exclusive online masterclass with César Saldaña, the President of the D.O. Jerez. César, with over 35 years of experience in the commercialization and development of the Sherry Wine industry, will guide you through an in-depth tasting, including 4 different styles of sherry. This is a unique opportunity to learn from an industry expert who has traveled the world giving seminars and advocating for new innovations within Spain’s oldest DO.

How to Enter:

  1. Simply register your event on sherryweek.wine before September 27th, 2024.
  2. Ensure your event has more than 10 participants.
  3. Accept the terms and conditions by ticking the checkbox on the registration form.

Terms & Conditions

Eligibility:

  • To be eligible, you must register your event on sherryweek.wine before September 27th, 2024.
  • Your event must have more than 10 participants.
  • You must accept the terms and conditions by ticking the checkbox on the registration form.
  • The competition is open to anyone who has registered their event since June 1st, 2024.

Prize Details:

  • A total of 3 winners will be chosen at random by the EasyPromos app.
  • Winners will each receive an online masterclass in either English or Spanish, on the diversity of Sherry Wines conducted by César Saldaña via a Zoom link.
  • The masterclass must take place during October 2024 or Sherry Week (November 4-10, 2024), at a time convenient for European time zones and Mr. Saldañas availability.

Notification and Confirmation:

  • Winners will be notified by email on Monday, September 30th, 2024.
  • Winners have 48 hours to confirm their acceptance. Failure to confirm within this timeframe will result in forfeiture of the prize, and another winner will be selected.
  • A representative of the D.O. Jerez will coordinate with the winners to schedule the online tasting.

Event Requirements:

  • Winners are responsible for organizing their guests, audio and visual equipment, and a suitable space for the masterclass.
  • The D.O. Jerez will sponsor the tasting with 4 x 750ml bottles of Sherry Wine, including 4 different styles.
  • If it is not possible to ship the wines, they will be coordinated with a local distributor. Brands can be pre-agreed if the venue has exclusive distribution with a sherry house.
  • The tasting will run for 60 minutes. The D.O. Jerez will provide a Sherry Week-designed tasting mat and, where possible, send Sherry information leaflets.

Additional Terms:

  • The prize is non-transferable.
  • The online tasting will be conducted via a Zoom link provided by the D.O. Jerez.
