Everyone's On Board for a Sherry Summer

The Portland Herald added Lustau’s "Jarana" to its list of Summer Wines that “ask you to keep drinking” describing the Fino as an “easygoing beauty…perfect when all you want to do is eat simply and drink deep”.  Writer, Joe Appel, speaking on Finos and Manzanillas, has found,

so many to adore. 

The Washington Post challenged all 4th of July celebrants to add Sherry to their drinking plans calling Sherry a truly American tradition that most likely had Columbus and his crew on a “Sherry bender” by the time they reached the New World.  He recommended adding a Sherry Cobbler to the freedom menu as an ode to the common 1800’s American punch ingredient. 

The LA Times acknowledged one of our beloved LA restaurants, The Bazaar by José Andrés, in “Where to Find Sommeliers in the L.A. Restaurant Scene”. Specifically noting Sommelier Rachel Macalisang’s curated selection of Sherry Wines and extensive Sherry list.​ ​
