The Ginger Pig created two cocktails for the week, entitled Sherry for Beginners and Sour Nuts. The first using Manzanilla and the second East India Oloroso, showcasing the versatility of sherry wines from bone dry to sweet when used in cocktails.
Sherry for beginners does what it says on the tin, it offers an easy drinking fruity cocktail to appeal to most tastes, where as the Sour Nuts offers a nutty sherry twist on the classic Whisky Sour.
The week genuinely couldn't get any better for the Ginger Pig as they were also awarded Birghton's food pub of the year at the Brighton & Hove Food & Drink Festival.
