Sherry “Tap Takeover” at Vagabond Wines throughout April

08 April 2016

From1st April every branch of Vagabond Wines will feature six different Sherries in a dedicated section in their wine dispensing machines.

To share their love for Andalucía’s finest drink Vagabond have created their very own Sherry-based cocktail: The Kiko. Named in honor of the Atlético Madrid centre-forward who was born in the town of Jerez. It’s a chilled combination of Gonzalez Byass Leonor Palo Cortado with orange peel and lemon juice, garnished with blueberry.  It’s a refreshing and tangy taste of southern Spain that shows that Sherry is so much more than an aperitif.

Other sherry based promotions during the month wiil include guided tasting sessions every week on the terrace at their Old Spitalfields Market branch.  From bone-dry Fino, to sticky-sweet Pedro Ximenez and everything in between, everyone is encouraged to taste their way through the wonderfully diverse world of Sherry at these sessions.

For those who want to explore at their leisure we will have six Sherries available from our wine sampling machines in each of our three branches. We all know there’s nothing ordinary about Sherry and we’ll be showcasing the best of the region from leading bodegas such as Fernando de Castilla, Gonzalez Byass and Lustau among others.
