"International Sherry Week was such a great idea and we were racking our brains for interesting ways to approach it. Our first idea was to have 7 facts - so one tweet a day during ISW. Then we thought why keep it to a week? So we extended our in-store promos (discounts, prominent display & all week long tastings) throughout November and did an A-Z of facts.
Sherry is such a misunderstood wine, and is not an easy category of wine to explain and the colourful, comic book approach with pithy facts seemed like a fantastic way of spreading the word and the history behind this amazing drink. In the process we all learnt quite a bit too so it's been a wonderful experiment."
