I fell in love with sherry some twenty years ago, but switched to a higher gear in 2013 by starting www.sherrynotes.com, one of the most popular online sources of information about sherry. It now includes over 400 background articles, bodega profiles, news items and reviews of all types of sherry wines. I also published several articles as guest blogger for the sherry.wine website. In 2014 I started the first ever Sherry Twitter Tasting during the International Sherry Week, promoting sherry to hundreds of winelovers around the world via Twitter.
I am regularly hosting tasting events and I'm consulting sommeliers, bartenders and wine shops in Belgium, trying to give sherry the exposure it deserves.
Lived in Madrid for a couple of years, now back in Belgium.
