Originally from Ribera del Duero in Spain, Rubén Sanz Ramiro is Head Sommelier at restaurant PM & Vänner in Växjö, Sweden. He relocated for the role in 2013 and currently oversees, together with Andreas Larsson, one of the largest wine cellars in Northern Europe. A hotel business graduate from the University of Catalunya, Spain, Sanz Ramiro was previously based in New York City where he was Head Sommelier at legendary restaurant Veritas and earlier at Avroko hospitality group. Rubén career has reached London, France and Spain where he has developed his skills in the wine trade and gained experience in oenology and viticulture.
