The Spanish wine tasting, along with a venenciador workshop, will be led by Monika Frendl and Małgorzata Kozakiewicz. Monika is a specialist in sherry and has been spreading knowledge about wines and whisky, food pairing, and promoting conscious tasting and the culture of alcohol consumption in Poland for many years. She advises on the selection and purchase of alcohols, creating wine, whisky, and craft beer menus and portfolios. She is a distinguished graduate of the Wine and Spirit Education Trust Level 3 and the Sherry Academy Advanced. A laureate of the 'Business in Women's Hands' program by the Entrepreneurial Women Foundation, she is the creator of the WINE GUIDE project and the founder of WINSKY, the first true wine & whisky bar in Warsaw. She has judged the international Enoexpo 2016 competition and is a member of the Polish Sommelier Association, the Women and Wine Association, and the leader of the Warsaw branch of the Women and Wine Association. Małgorzata Kozakiewicz represents the Embassy of Spain and the brand Foods & Wines from Spain. She is responsible for promoting Spanish wines and food products in Poland, organizing guided tastings, study trips to Spain, and meetings between Spanish producers and importers. She supports Spanish restaurants within the Restaurants from Spain program and those interested in learning about Spanish wines through the Spanish Wine Academy program. She is a graduate of the Wine and Spirit Education Trust, Spanish Wine Specialist, and Spanish Wine Scholar. She is a member of the Women and Wine Association and in 2022 was awarded the Woman of the Year title for her efforts in promoting wine culture in Poland.
