Bar Vivant is a proper tapas bar. A re-creation of the neighborhood watering holes in San Sebastián offering inexpensive, bite sized pintxos washed down by copious amounts of Txakoli poured from great heights. The patrons stand up as they banter about their day and their families, have another pintxo and toss their dirty napkins on the floor to keep the tables clean. We offer one of the most extensive sherry selections in the world, with over 160 bottle selections from all the sherry styles, and a plethora of sherries by the glass and flight.
Sherry Cocktail

1 oz (30 ml) Harveys Bristol Cream Sherry
1 oz (30 ml) Gonzalez Byass La Copa Rojo Vermouth
1 oz (30 ml) E.H. Taylor Kentucky Rye Whiskey
3 dashes Angostura Bitters
5 oz (150 ml) Orange Cap Ginger Beer*, cold
In a highball glass, combine the sherry, vermouth, rye whiskey and bitters. Add 3 ice cubes and stir to chill. Top with the ginger beer and give the drink one final stir before hopping on that zoom meeting.
* Or other high-quality ginger beer. Do not substitute ginger ale.
