Kaltur Wine Bar & Restaurant

Through Kaltur Food Ltd, based in Newcastle upon Tyne, we import & distribute our own family EVOO alongside Spanish Wines and Food.
Kaltur Wine Bar & Restaurant is our laboratory, thanks to the help of Head Chef Alex we experiment with all the produce we import, along with other locally sourced produce, and Extra Virgin Olive Oil as a base of the Mediterranean diet, to develop a simple but interesting menu. From our hand carved classic Charcuterie plates and a great selection of Spanish cheeses, to our regularly changing tapas plates and hot dishes selection, such as Cod, lamb, Galician Beef or Iberico Secreto meat. Our wine menu focuses on the different Spanish Denominations of origin with special focus on Sherries; Manzanilla from Sanlucar De Barrameda, Fino from Jerez and El Puerto Santa Maria, as well as Amontillados and Olorosos, are amongst the wide selection of wines we import from Spain.

Sherry Wine Pairing

Our most popular sherry wine pairing are our cheeses or charcuterie boards with a glass of Manzanilla fina Callejuela, as well as excellent Iberico Acorn Ham D.O. Guijuelo, carved by hand with a glass of fino en rama Tio Pepe saca spring 2017. We also offer a 20 years old Palo Cortado (URIUM) as an after dinner drink.
