A trained lawyer and political scientist educated at Oxford University, Eugen has worked as sommelier for many years before moving into the wine trade. He currently holds the position of Managing Director of Vienna-based P.M. Mounier, a 100% subsidiary of Schlumberger AG. P.M. Mounier is importer of international wines and distributor of, inter alia, Bodegas González-Byass and Emilio Lustau.
Eugen regularly teaches courses on both fortified and sparkling wines to sommelier candidates at "Wirtschaftsförderungsinstitut Österreich", institution of adult education run by the Austrian Economic Chamber.
