Aiming to one by one turn more people in Wales and the UK on to quality sherry. Having set up Bar 44 tapas y copas in 2002 in the market town of Cowbridge, we now have 3 successful bars in the Vale of Glamorgan and Cardiff area. The aim is to raise the profile of modern Spanish cookery and quality ingredients, whilst also promoting incredible producers of sherry and other Spanish wines.
The sherry educators course was one of the best experiences of my life - it still drives me to help people enjoy (and understand) sherry, whether on it's own, in a cocktail, paired with tapas and even cooking with it.
A love of sherry country and the Cádiz region keeps bringing me back, now having many colleagues and friends there.
